What to do after wedding ceremony in Las Vegas?
Mу fiance аnd I аrе getting married next year іn Las Vegas аnd wіll hаνе аbουt 50 guests attending. Wе аrе getting married аt a chapel near thе strip (3pm), bυt hаνе nοt mаdе plans οn аnу events аftеr thе ceremony. Anу thουghtѕ? Wе′re trying tο keep іt relatively inexpensive.

This may sound odd…but vegas has numerous incredible buffets. Treat your guests to that. Just make sure to call ahead and have reservations. This way you don’t need to worry about who will like what, and you will know the set price beforehand.

Just scroll down for reception thoughts.
I vote for this one:

My brother just got married in vegas a few months ago. Their ceremony was also at 3pm in the Treasure Island Chapel.
Her dad had rented a van (but it could very easily be done on foot or on the “duece” as well) but we drove around and took pictures at different locations in Vegas (Ceasars Palace is wonderful for this), drive out to the Vegas sign (there’s also this really tacky pink elephant en route that was amusing to take pics with as well)
I’m assuming you’re not having a reception? They had theirs at Mizuno’s (in the Tropicana) and it was $1100 for 30 people. Maybe hit up the MGM’s seafood buffett for dinner…have it as an open invitation and make sure everyone knows that it is “on own”, I reckon that if you don’t have a plot for after the wedding, everyone will drift around and lose contact in Vegas.
Or if you or a family memeber has a large enough room/mini suite in the hotel you could head down to cosco and pick up some beers, bottles of wine, and meat/veg/fruit trays and have an “open house” until 7pm-ish. And then hit the town with whichever guests want to come along!
After my brother’s reception, we went to New York New York and went on the roller coaster in all of our wedding apparel…including the bride! So much fun!!!!
It’s Vegas, baby! There are no rules and no expectations. Just roll with it and have an incredible day!
There is so much you can do in Vegas the possibilities are endless! For 50 people, look into group discounts for matinee time shows and tours.
Go out to dinner? But don’t force your guests to pay their own way. What do you want to do?
yes, the Planet Hollywood buffet is incredible!! See if you can get a discount for having so many people.
Hi and congratulations!
Hmmmm…for 50 people in Vegas? Personally, I don’t reckon you are going to find too much that is inexpensive. At least I didn’t when I was there. But, it depends on what your perception of inexpensive is.
In any case, you must do something for the guests that have traveled to your wedding. I like the link Suz123 provided you. That about sums up everything. Pick out a place to take your guests for a dinner after. If you don’t feel that you can pay for a meal for 50 guests, then pick out a place and have some appetizers/drinks/cake? for your guests.
There are LOTS of places to choose from. Excellent luck and I hope you have a gorgeous day!
My wedding will be in Vegas next yr so I’ve done some extensive research on things to do. How about a reception at Maggianos? That is the nicest but least expensive that I could find on the strip. Don’t do a buffet or make the guests pay if you can help it. We’re having a wedding/reception off the strip but may come back later to a bar within Planet Hollywood for late nightcap.
