what’s the best way to get from Cherry Hill to Atlantic City during rush hour?
keeping іn mind thаt i wіll bе driving during rυѕh hour (5pm) whats thе best way tο avoid traffic аѕ much аѕ possible аnd gеt frοm cherry hill tο AC? 295s tο 42 іѕ always a hυgе mess, ѕο i wаѕ thinking taking 70w tο 73s tο thе AC expressway.
whаt dο уου rесkοn іѕ thе best way?

42 is still the best way. Once you get a small past Deptford, the traffic really breaks up and it’s a clean run. 70 to 73 is full of stop lights and takes much longer. I usually leave Philly around 4:30pm (from 6th and Girard) and get to AC around 5:30/5:45.
You are really in a bind. 70 and 73 have so much traffic and so many lights it just drives me crazy and I’m not even in Cherry Hill that often. I’d take my chances with 295 to 42 to the A.C.E.
private plane? you are screwed.
Routes 70 and 73 can get a bit jammed up at times too, but you could be alright, depending on where you are in Cherry Hill. You could always try and take Haddonfield-Berlin Road to Route 73. You can get there from Springdale and/or Brace Roads.
Basically, you’ll take Haddonfield-Berlin Road all the way to Route 73 in Berlin. It’ll be slow with plenty of lights, but shouldn’t be terrible (Springdale Road may be though). Once you get to 73, just follow it all the way to the A.C. Expressway.
If you know for a fact that it’s jammed up there too, then just stay straight (left lane) instead of jumping onto the ACE from Route 73. This will take you through Buena. Follow it all the way to a traffic light at Route 54 and make a right. Go for about 1 mile and you’ll come to Route 322 (a small bridge). Route 322 is the Black Horse Pike at this point and will run parallel to the ACE. Head East into AC or even jump back on after the tolls (as long as it’s not a Friday)
the best way to avoid the most traffic would be to stay away from all the roads mentioned during rush hour. if i were you i would head East on Rt. 70 to the Red Lion circle, then take 206 south all the way down to Hammonton, make a left on 30 and follow it into A.C. you should only hit some traffic on 70 going through Marlton then it should be excellent. Most of the traffic will be going other way.
